Format and Tournament Rules
- The Fiore Cares Golf Tournament features a scramble format.
- Men tee off from the blue tees; Women tee off from men’s or women’s tees.
- Each player tees off on each hole. The best of the tee shots is selected and all players on the team play their second shots from that spot. The best of the second shots is determined, then all play their third shots from that spot, and so on until the ball is holed at which point the score will be recorded.
- The team must use 3 drives from each player.
- Mulligan tickets will be offered – maximum of two per player. They may be used on any shot except on a shot to win a prize (for example – longest drive, closest to the pin…).
- Each player must play the entire round with your entire foursome to be eligible to win team prizes.
Prizes/Contests
- First Place: Awarded to the foursome with the lowest gross score before handicaps.
- Second Place: Awarded to the foursome with the lowest net score after handicaps.
- Third Place: Awarded to the foursome with the second lowest net score after handicaps.
- Longest Drive: Awarded for both men and women
- Closest to the Pin: Awarded to the player whose tee shot lands closest to the pin
